Hello and welcome to the July 2024 Project Share Project blog hop. Our fabulous little group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators share each others projects every Thursday and also create a new project for a monthly Blog Hop. This month, our theme is Fun Fold. I’ve kind of cheated this month as I’ve been on vacation and then jet lagged! So, here’s a Painted Lavender box fold card I made last month for a family friend’s very special birthday…
ABOUT MY CARD
I used quite a few of my favourite products for this Painted Lavender box fold card and I’ve listed them all at the end of this post.
Most of the decorations were created with the Painted Lavender stamp set and the coordinating dies. I used colours that tied in with the Perennial Lavender designer series paper. All of the embellishments are glued to horizontal strips of card on the inside of the box part, some of the shorter ones were added to strips of window sheet first.
I used the Unbounded Love stamp and dies bundle for my sentiment piece on the front flap and also used the dies for the floating sentiment…
The 70 was created with the Alphabet A La Mode dies set, which has to be one of the most useful products for personalised cards and gifts!
Mostly when I make this type of card I leave the back panel standing up but this time I folded it down, leaving a smaller area to write a personal message…
That did mean that I felt the need to hide the window sheet on the 70 label by adding a Fresh Freesia oval on the back. When the card is folded flat it measures 5″ x 7″
