Frames & Flowers birthday card

Hello! I hope you are well. Today I want to share with you a Frames & Flowers birthday card that I made in a Facebook live crafting session a few days ago…

The Frames & Flowers designer series paper pack from Stampin’ Up!’s 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue is an unusual one. For a start, it only has 6 sheets in it. 3 of those sheets are stunning double sided designs, that you would normally expect from Stampin’ Up! But the other 3 are full of pop out die cut frames, corners, wreaths, foliage and flowers. I have used some of these elements for today’s card and I used some previously to decorate these little boxes…

I can’t wait to use more of the die cut elements from the pack to frame photos on a scrapbook page! I reckon that would be the perfect use for them.

ABOUT MY CARD

Today’s card was completely impromptu but came together so easily, once I decided which of the many beautiful pieces from the Frames & Flowers DSP pack I wanted to use. My card base is Basic White Thick card, then I added a layer of Lost Lagoon card, followed by a layer of the DSP.

I stamped the birthday sentiment from Simply Said with Lost Lagoon ink onto the die cut from the pack and popped this up with dimensionals. The consensus of opinion during the live was to have the main image at a jaunty angle – which I love! I had to trim some of the die cuts to add in extra foliage around the main image.

Then the final touch, selected by my best friend, was to add some flat pearls.
