Hearts & Hugs treat box tutorial

Hello! I hope you are well. Today I want to share with you the little handmade gifts I sent to my customers that shopped for Stampin’ Up! products during April 2024. These is my Hearts & Hugs treat box…

I had saved a box created by Lydia Fast on Pinterest ages ago and wanted to make my own version. Click here to check out the inspirational box by Lydia. I had to completely resize the box for my treats and I converted it to inches too. You can get the measurements further down this post.

I made my version with Pool Party card, some Country Woods designer series paper and decorated it with the Hearts & Hugs stamps and dies bundle. Isn’t this little mouse so sweet?

MEASUREMENTS

To make the Hearts & Hugs treat box I made in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies

• Pool Part card measuring 5″ x 6″
  • score on the long side at 1/2″, 1-1/4″, 4-3/4″ & 5-1/2″ the full length of the card piece
  • score on the short side – just at the top and bottom – at 7/8″ & 3-1/8″ (as shown in the video)
  • score on the short side – only in the middle – at 1/2″, 1-1/4″, 2-3/4″ & 3-1/2″ (as shown in the video)
• 2 pieces of Country Woods designer series paper, each measuring 1-3/8″ x 3-3/8″
• 2 pieces of Country Woods designer series paper, each measuring 5/8″ x 3-3/8″
• Basic White card to stamp and die cut the mouse and the sentiment
• Pool Party and Petal Pink card to die cut the flowers
