Bright & Beautiful mini gift bag tutorial

Hello! I know I’ve been excited to share some of the upcoming new products from the 2024-2025 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue. But today, I’m focusing on a paper pack that is currently available and will still be available when the new catalogue launches on 1 May 2024. Here’s my Bright & Beautiful mini gift bag…

I’m so happy that I’ll be able to keep on creating with this Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack!

I’ve created this little gift bag in the style of a shopper bag or tote. And of course, it’s filled with sweeties!

I made this version and then recorded a video when I made my next one, I hope you like it. Listen out for the click clack of of the bag against a hard surface – the little details can make a big difference!

MEASUREMENTS

To make the Bright & Beautiful mini gift bag I made in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies

• Azure Afternoon card measuring 6-3/4″ x 6-1/2″
  • score on the long side at 2-1/8″ and 4-5/8″
  • score on the short side at 2″ and 4-1/2″
  • mark each of the side panels at 3/4″, 1-1/4″ and 1-3/4″
  • use these marks to add in diagonal score lines (as shown in the video)
• 2 strips of Azure Afternoon card for the straps, each measuring 6-1/2″ x 1/4″
• 2 pieces of Bright & Beautiful designer series paper, each measuring 2″ x 2-3/8″
• 1 piece of Azure Afternoon card for the pocket measuring 1″ x 1-1/2″
• 1 piece of Bright & Beautiful DSP for the pocket measuring 7/8″ x 1-3/8″
• 1 piece of Basic White card measuring 1″ x 1-1/4″ for the sentiment
• Ribbon
• embellishments
