Layers of Beauty card – InspireInk Blog Hop

Today I’m taking part in the InspireInk blog hop, with a few of my talented Pootlers team mates. This month our theme is Floral. I have used this an excuse to play with the Layers of Beauty bundle that will be available from 1 May 2024. Here’s my very first Layers of Beauty card…

The Layers of Beauty bundle consists of a stamp set, some layering masks and a set of dies. So the combinations may very well be endless! I used all of them for this card. However, I only used Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green inks to achieve this look. The masks allow you to layer up the same colours or use different colours to add depth to those gorgeous flowers and leaves.

Once I’d finished adding the ink with my blending brushes, I used the coordinating die to cut it out. I also used dies from the set to cut extra leaves and that super sweet little tag. The sentiment from the set actually reads “you make my heart smile’ but I masked it off to only stamp “smile” for that tiny tag.

I used the Layered Flowers 3D embossing folder as my background layer and I love how they look together…

I added some ribbon to the tag, popped up the large floral die cut with dimensionals and the finishing touch was some iridescent pearls.
