Basic Beige wax paper stamping thank you card

Hello! I hope you are well. I had to make a card to show off the new Stampin’ Up! colour Basic Beige recently and thought I’d play with a fun technique at the same time. Here’s my Basic Beige wax paper stamping thank you card…

Basic Beige appears in the 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue that launches on 1 May 2024 and I reckon it’s going to be massive hit – at least in my craft room! I used the card, ink and ribbon for this card, along with some other new products. The Leaf Collection stamp set was stamped with Basic Beige ink on the same card colour for the focal layer. The sentiment is from Spotlight On Nature and was cut with a die from the same bundle.

The wax paper stamping was a fun addition to the card base…

When I mentioned this technique during a Facebook Live, it seemed to be well received, but not many had heard of it – did I make this up?

So, I thought I’d make another card to show off the process…

I’d love you to click on the image above or if you prefer you can click here to pop over to YouTube and see my very quick wax paper stamping tutorial. If you enjoy watching my video, I’d love you to give it a thumbs up and leave me a comment too. If you haven’t already subscribed to my channel, make sure you do so when you’re there; so you don’t miss out on future videos.

Here’s the card I made in the video replacing the Leaf Collection stamp with some Country Wood designer series paper…
