Belated Birthday card

Hello! On Monday evening I took part in a Craft & Chatter session on Zoom with some of my fellow Stampin’ Up! UK & Ireland demonstrators. These events are such fun and it’s nice to see some of our team mates and friends, even if it is just virtually. It’s a bit of a mystery card making session as we are given the measurements of card and paper to cut but that’s all. Here’s the Belated Birthday card that I made during the session…

Now, can we please completely ignore the fact that the Masterfully Made designer series paper I used happens to have been glued onto the card upside down? LOL Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until after I’d finished the card, even although I was actually wearing my glasses!

MEASUREMENTS

Here are the measurements we were given in advance of the session:

• Card Stock 1 – 21 cm x 14.8 cm
• Card Stock 2 – 2 pieces measuring 13.8 cm x 9.5 cm
• Card Stock 3 (light enough to write on) – 13.3 cm x 9 cm
• Designer Series Paper – 13.3 cm x 9 cm

During the session we were instructed to score the long side of Card Stock 1 at 10.5 cm and 5.25 cm

The result is this fun fold card…

We then had free choice of how to decorate it. I chose to add some Fresh Freesia ribbon and stamped my sentiment with Pretty Peacock ink as these feature in the DSP. The sentiment is from Something Fancy and I cut it with the Decorative Circle punch. It was then added to the card with dimensionals.

The final touch was to add some adhesive backed Dragonflies & Birds.
