I used circle punches to cut the stamped images from Softly Sophisticated , These were added to some Perennial Lavender designer series paper, before being embossed. This technique gives the impression of your images being inlaid into the paper…

This is a great technique for card you want to send in the mail, as there’s less chance of having to pay additional postage costs. After all, we want to #MakeACardSendACard as often as possible!

Now, I will admit that I’m not totally happy with my colour selection for this second card. But that’s what happens when you don’t fully plan, LOL.

SUPPLIES

To make the Inlaid Embossing card I created in the video you’ll need the following supplies:

• Basic White Thick card for base, measuring 29 x 10.5cm, scored and folded on the long side at 14.5 cm
• Perennial Lavender designer series paper measuring 10 x 14 cm
• Basic White card measuring 6.5 x 6.5 cm to stamp the flower
• Basic White card measuring 2.5 x 6.5 cm to stamp the sentiment
• Embellishments
