Hello! I hope you are well. This week’s Creative Colour Challenge is a lilttle bit easier than last week’s one but not a lot! After much thought and a fair amount of changing my mind, I finally created this Notes of Nature card…

about my CARD
The way I normally go about these colour challenges is to see which packs of designer series paper has the colours in it. Did you know that you can filter by colour in the Stampin’ Up! shop? It’s been a game changer for me! Unfortunately, the only DSP I have with Copper Clay in it is the 2023-2025 In Colors pack. For me, the patterns in this pack were a bit full on to combine with the other 2 colours in this week’s challenge. So I went back to the drawing board.
One of the benefits of being a messy crafter is that sometimes you have just the right stamp set sitting on your desk. Notes of Nature stamps and dies should have been put back on the shelf, but insteadthey were ready to inspire me once again.
I thought the ‘Thanks For Making Me Smile’ would look good in a circle and then I could arrange some of the flowers and leaves from the set around it. And of course, I love a splatter stamp and had to use that too. The splatter was stamped with Petal Pink and 2nd generation Copper Clay – this means I stamped off onto scrap paper before stamping on my card. This gives you a softer shade of the ink.
The little flowers were stamped with Copper Clay ink and coloured with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. I added Petal Pink ribbon from a duo pack, along with the new Pretty Peacock ribbon. These give a little bit extra shine and some lovely textures…

The final touch was to add some Copper Clay solid gems.
I hope you like my Notes of Nature with this week’s colours. Why don’t you see what you can make with these colours and join in the fun?
