Heartfelt Hexagon Sympathy card – InspireInk Blog Hop

Today I’m taking part in the InspireInk blog hop for October 2023, with my talented Pootlers team mates. This month we have a sketch challenge and I’ve used this layout to create a Heartfelt Hexagon Sympathy card…

And here is my card…

As you’ll notice, I gave the card layout a spin so that my sentiment is bottom right instead of top left. This is such a quick and easy card to make and keep in your stash, hopeful that you don’t need it!

I chose Pretty Peacock DSP from the Regals pack and used only Pretty Peacock ink too.

All of the stamps I used are from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set and I used the coordinating punch for the sentiment. I punched an extra Hexagon from Pretty Peacock card, cut it in half lengthways and attached it to the back of the stamped one. I added this to my card with dimensionals.

Here’s the stamping I added to the inside…

My final touch was to add a little bow above the Heartfelt Hexagon and one of the smaller Iridescent pearls on each of the 3 DSP panels.

MEASUREMENTS

To make today’s card you’ll need the following supplies:

• Pretty Peacock card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 14.5 cm to create the tent fold card base
• 2 pieces of Basic White card measuring 10 x 14 cm for the front and insert
• 3 pieces of Regals DSP each measuring 3 x 9.5 cm
• A scrap of Basic White card to stamp and punch your sentiment
• A scrap of Pretty Peacock card to cut with the Heartfelt Hexagon punch and back the sentiment
• ribbon and embellishments
