My lovely friend and Stampin’ Up! manager Valerie gifted me the awesome new Tiny Christmas Trees die a few weeks ago and I’ve only just got round to playing with it. Here’s my very first Tiny Christmas Trees card…
I wanted the Tiny Christmas Trees to be the main focus, but I wasn’t sure I wanted it to be a full card layer. I wanted there to be plenty of white space left too. So, my compromise was to cut make a main panel with the die, back it with Shaded Spruce card and add a sentiment over it. My sentiment is from Joy To You. This sentiment only stamp set has 4 lovely big sentiments to choose from, but I went with the classic Wishing You A Very Merry Christmas.
I added my Tiny Christmas Trees panel to my card base, at a jaunty angle with dimensionals, over some of the beautiful Herringbone ribbon…
Of course I needed to add a little bit of bling, so I kept it simple with a few rhinestones.

MEASUREMENTS
Here are the supplies you’ll need to make today’s card
- Basic White Thick card base measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm
- Shaded Spruce card measuring 7 x 13 cm
- Basic White card cut with the Tiny Trees die, measuring 6.5 x 12.5 cm
- Basic White card for the sentiment measuring 7 x 3.5 cm
- Ribbon & embellishments
