Clean and Simple You’re Too Kind card

If you’ve read my blog for a while, or watched my YouTube tutorials, then you may have noticed that I love using patterned papers in my projects. However, I also really like clean and simple (CAS) cards. Today’s project is this CAS You’re Too Kind card…

To balance out all that lovely white space on this card I chose some fun bright colours! I like this combination of Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide. Do you?

I used the wonderful Wanted To Say dies for this card. One die cuts out the individual words of the sentiment and another cuts out the background. The collections of little stars were also cut with a die from this set.

My card base is Thick Basic White card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut a piece of Tahitian Tide card to measure 10 x 14 cm and a layer of Basic White card to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm..

Once I glued the words to the backing piece I added it to my card with mini dimensionals to give it even more of a pop! My final touch was to add some of the coordinating 2022-2024 In Color pearls.
