Today I’d like to share with you all the Trucking Along Special Delivery card, that I created for the latest Creative Colour Challenges…
THE CHALLENGE

I really like each of this week’s colours but I’m not sure if I’ve ever used them together, until now. I felt that I wanted to us the Trucking Along stamp set again, as it’s been a while. So I stamped the outline of the truck with Blackberry Bliss and then the infill stamp with Sweet Sorbet. I used the Smoky Slate ink to stamp the tyres.
To make this into a Christmas card I stamped the gifts in the back of the truck with Blackberry Bliss ink, again this is a 2 stamp process. I then coloured in the remaining white part of the gifts with Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends. I also used the blends to colour in some little bits of the truck and to transform the black and white ribbon.
The stamped image was cut with the 2nd largest circle from Stylish Shapes dies and I used the largest circle on Blackberry Bliss card. They were both glued together and then popped up with dimensionals. I love the stitched detail you get with these dies…
The Special Delivery sentiment is also from the Trucking Along stamp set.
measurements
My card base is Smoky Slate card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. The Blackberry Bliss layer measures 10 x 14 cm and I die cut the circle from the centre of this panel before adding it to my card base. The top Smoky Slate layer measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm and was embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder.
To add a little bit of bling I went with the In Color Pearls.
