Winter Meadow fun fold card – tutorial

Today I have a beautiful Winter Wishes card to share with you. Not just that but it’s a Winter Meadow fun fold card and I have a tutorial for you too.

The Winter Meadow suite is available in my online Stampin’ Up! store from 6 September and includes a stamp set, dies, stunning paper and embellishments. Here’s the first card I’ve created with these products…

It’s an offset gate fold card, so although it’s a fun fold, it’s easy to make and doesn’t use up any extra card or paper than a standard card. I did add a layer inside with an extra sentiment and stamping…

This first card has a Moody Mauve card base and I coloured the stamps with Moody Mauve and Lost Lagoon ink. I decided to make another one and this time chose to use Blueberry Bushel and Shaded Spruce. You can see how I coloured the stamps and made this Winter Meadow fun fold card in my tutorial…

Which one do you prefer? Moody Mauve or Blueberry Bushel?

MEASUREMENTS – using A4 card

To make the fun fold card in the video you’ll need the following supplies:

• Blueberry Bushel card measuring 8-1/4″ (the width of A4) x 5-3/4″
  • score on the long side at 2-5/8″ from 1 end
  • score on the long side at 1-1/2″ from the opposite end (as shown in the video)
• Basic White card pieces measuring
  • 5-5/8″ x 2-1/2″
  • 5-5/8″ x 1-3/8″
  • 5-5/8″ x 4″
  • scraps for stamping and die cutting the foliage and for the sentiment label
• Winter Meadow designer series paper measuring
  • 5-1/2″ x 2-3/8″
  • 5-1/2″ x 1-1/4″
• Ribbon & embellishments

The folded card will fit into our standard C6 envelopes.

MEASUREMENTS – using us letter card

If you are using US letter card then you’ll need to adjust some of the measurements as mentioned in the video. Here’s what you’ll need:

• Blueberry Bushel card measuring 8-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
  • score on the long side at 2-5/8″ from 1 end
  • score on the long side at 1-1/2″ from the opposite end (as shown in the video)
• Basic White card pieces measuring
  • 5-3/8″ x 2-1/2″
  • 5-3/8″ x 1-3/8″
  • 5-3/8″ x 4″
  • scraps for stamping and die cutting the foliage and for the sentiment label
• Winter Meadow designer series paper m
  • 5-1/4″ x 2-3/8″
  • 5-1/4″ x 1-1/4″

(The resulting card will measure 4-1/8″ x 5-1/2″ so will fit into your normal envelopes)
