Sending Sunshine card – Inspire.Create.Challenge

There’s a new Inspire.Create.Challenge and this time the theme is Summer. So I’ve created this bright Sending Sunshine card, with the Sending Smiles stamp set and Masterfully Made designer series paper pack…

Bright colours and pretty flowers just scream Summer to me. So that’s why I grabbed a sheet of the Masterfully Made designer series paper pack. I love that this design depicts such fun bright paper flowers.

To coordinate with the paper I made my card base with Lemon Lime Twist card, measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I trimmed my DSP to measure 10 x 14 cm.

I used the Sending dies pack to cut the sentiment pieces with Fresh Freesia and Berry Burst card. The stamped sentiment is from the Sending Smiles set. I cut this sentiment and the piece of Berry Burst card beneath it with more of the Sending dies.

As I didn’t have any suitable embellishments I simply coloured some rhinestones with my Dark Berry Burst Stampin’ Blend…

This is a great technique to get matching gems and ribbons.
