Creative Colour Challenges 91 – featuring Dots & Spots die

Hello, I hope you are well.

This is another vivid colour combination that I love but thought it could be a bit overpowering so I’ve used really thin strips of card and threaded it through the holes created by the Dots & Spots die to create my background for this week’s card…

My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. The piece of die cut card measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm. I cut various lengths of card in each of the challenge colours that were approx 1/8th of an inch wide. Threading them through the holes in the die cut layer kept me quiet for a little while….

To complete the card I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful Balloons with Orchid Oasis ink and stamped over it with Parakeet Party ink using the large confetti balloon stamp. I cut it with the large star die from Beautiful Balloons and used the smaller star die with each of the 3 card colours, twice. All of the stars were added to the card with dimensionals.
