This week’s colours sparked joy so I had no hesitation to join in this challenge! I grabbed the Irresistible Blooms stamp set and created this card…
The Irresistible Blooms stamp set has 2 sizes of flower. I stamped the largest one first on to my card layer and then stamped it again onto a sticky note. I fussy cut just inside the lines of the image on the sticky note to create a mask. I put the mask over the stamped flower on the card layer and then stamped the smaller flower either side. I made a mask for the smaller flower with another sticky note so that I could stamp the leaves to make them look like they are behind the flowers. The flowers were stamped with Highland Heather and the leaves with Evening Evergreen. So I still had to use Soft Succulent.
I used the dotty stamp from the set to cover the remainder of my card layer with first and second generation Soft Succulent ink. I also stamped the sentiment with the same ink and punched it with the Label Me Fancy punch. I used the punch again with Evening Evergreen card, cut it in half and added the 2 pieces to the back of the stamped label. I added a little bit of Soft Succulent ribbon to the card and then the sentiment label on top with dimensionals…
The finishing touch was some Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen Opal Rounds.
I hope you like what I created with this week’s colours. Why don’t you see what you can make with these colours and join in the fun?
