Creative Colour Challenges 79 with Decorative Borders

Hello, I hope you are well.

These are the colours for the latest challenge over at http://www.creativecolourchallenges.blogspot.com

Please CLICK HERE to find out more about this challenge and to join in the fun with this week’s 3 colours.

These 3 colours certainly are a bright combination! However, I’ve used the sparingly on my card…

I’ve used Very Vanilla Thick card for my base, with a layer of Basic Black card and then my stamped and coloured layer of Very Vanilla.

Firs of all I stamped the Decorative Border twice with Memento ink. I used the Granny Apple Green dark and light Stampin’ Blends to colour in the leaves. I used Melon Mambo light Stampin’ Blend for the central flower. As we no longer sell Mango Melody blends I picked up some of the ink onto a small clear block and then dipped a Blender Pen into it to colour in the smaller flowers and the little diamond shapes at the end of the stamped images.

I then stamped the largest Thank You from Go To Greetings in between the 2 border stamps. I also added a few of the vanilla classic matte dots. The final touch was to add a little bit of stamping to the inside of the card too…

Why don’t you see what you can make with these colours and join in the fun?
