I love the idea of Galentine’s Day! We probably don’t take enough time to celebrate the female friends in our lives and thank them for their love and support. For those of you that don’t know, it is celebrated on 13th February and is pretty much like Valentine’s Day for your gal pals.
If you plan on sending a bunch of cards to your friends this Galentine’s Day this could be just the card you’re looking for…
It’s quick and simple to make as it mainly uses designer series paper! The background piece is from Country Gingham then I added a vertical strip from Country Floral Lane. I then punched the hearts and leaves from another piece of Country Floral Lane paper with the Country Bouquet punch.
The sentiment is from the Country Bouquet stamp set and I used Sweet Sorbet ink on Basic White card, to coordinate with the papers. I cut this with the smaller part of the Double Oval punch and cut Sweet Sorbet card with the larger oval on the same punch.
I’ve kept the card pretty flat so that it’s easier and cheaper to mail. So instead of adding bling I stamped these cute hearts on the inside…
Again, this stamp is from Country Bouquet set. I love the shape of these!
I hope you like this card and will perhaps give it a try. It doesn’t have to be for Galentine’s Day but for any day of the year that you want to let a friend know that you love and appreciate them.
