I love making gift boxes but sometimes real life gets in the way and it’s simply easier to decorate a pre made box and that’s exactly what I did recently…
The Stampin’ Up! Kraft Gift boxes are a very useful size at 4-1/2″ x 6-5/8″ x 3/4″ especially as it means you can pop them into an envelope and they still class as a large letter, rather than a small parcel with Royal Mail here in the UK.
I had a few little gifts to send to someone and this box was the perfect solution. All I added was a belly band of pretty paper, some ribbon and a tag. The paper is from a pack called Dandy Designs that you could earn for FREE with a qualifying order of £90 (120 euro) between 5 January and 28 February 2023. The pack has a total of 48 sheets of 12″ x 12″ paper, with 4 sheets of 12 double sided designs to choose from.
The tag was made with a new bundle from the 5 January to 30 April 2023 mini catalogue called Something Fancy. The die set has 12 dies that you can combine in various ways to create lovely tags and sentiment labels. I used an outline tag die and added in the floral die to cut out the top section at the same time. I then simply stamped it with the thank you sentiment.
I added some Fresh Freesia ribbon to the paper on the box and then the tag over the ribbon with dimensionals. The final touch was a few In Color Opal rounds..
Easy but very effective! I hope you agree.
