I needed a couple of extra Christmas cards as I’d run out of them and was inspired by the ‘last minute’ cards my friend Verity created with the Christmas To Remember and Christmas Season stamp sets – please CLICK HERE to check them out.
I made mine even easier than Verity’s gorgeous cards by stamping straight onto my card layer and using a punch for my sentiment instead of the die set she featured in her video tutorial…
My card bases is Sahara Sand card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut 2 pieces of Basic White card that each measure 9 x 13 cm, one for the front and one for inside.
I stamped the leaves with Soft Succulent ink and the berries with Rich Razzleberry – not exactly a traditional combination but I like it! I stamped the dots with Sahara Sand ink after I’d stamped off onto a piece of scrap paper.
The sentiment is stamped with Rich Razzleberry and cut with the Double Oval punch. I used the same punch on Sahara Sand, cut the oval in half and glued the pieces to the back of the stamped one.
Finally I added some stamping to the piece of card for the inside too…
For once I didn’t use any dimensionals or embellishments so I reckon this one counts as #simplestamping
