Hello everyone.
I missed a friend’s birthday while I was away in Vienna for Stampin’ Up!’s convention, OnStage, in November. However, 2 of the products I got to order early,as a perk at being at OnStage, were perfect for his belated birthday card…
Isn’t this sentiment awesome for a belated birthday card? I’d happily stretch out my birthday celebrations! This stamp comes from the Something Fancy set that appears in the January to April 2023 mini catalogue that launches on 5 January 2023. The dies I used for the sentiment are from the coordinating Something Fancy dies.
The By The Bay paper pack is perfect for this friend’s card as he served in the Navy – it was meant to be! The pack has lots of lovely designs, some of which have gold foil and others have pearl foil to give it a very luxurious look and is also available from 5 January 2023.
I added some Pool Party sheer ribbon by cutting 2 pieces and knotting them together in the middle, which makes a nice change from a bow. Finally I added some Balmy Blue solid faceted gems…
I think this paper will be used for lots of masculine cards but there are some more feminine designs with Petal Pink and Gold in the pack too. And Night of Navy isn’t just for the boys, it’s one of my all time favourite colours!
I hope you like this card and will look out for more projects with these upcoming products soon.
