How to make a matching gift box and bag – with Dainty Flowers DSP

December 7, 2022

Hello! I hope you are well.

In yesterday’s post I made a card with the Dainty Delight stamp set. Today I’ve used the same stamp set for sentiments, used some of the Dainty Delights dies and the absolutely gorgeous Dainty Flowers designer series paper.

Here’s the resulting gift box and bag…

The gift box measures 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ x 1″ so is a neat size for all sorts of little gifts. The box fits nicely into the gift bag as it measures 3″ x 3-1/2″ x 1-1/2″

I’d love you to click on the image below to see these upcoming products (available from 5 January 2023) in more detail and to see how to make both the box and bag…

Or you can CLICK HERE to watch it over on YouTube. If you’re not already subscribed to my channel I’d love you to do so while you’re there!

To make the box you’ll need the following supplies:

  • Rich Razzleberry card measuring 7-1/2″ x 5″
    • scored on the long side at 2-1/2″, 3-1/2″, 6″ and 7″
    • scored on the short side at 1″, 3-1/2″ and 4-1/2″
  • Dainty Flowers DSP measuring
    • 2 pieces = 2-3/8″ x 2-3/8″
    • 2 pieces = 7/8″ x 2-3/8″ (with pattern vertical)
    • 1 piece – 2=3/8″ x 7/8″ (with pattern horizontal)
  • Basic White card to stamp and punch the sentiment
  • Rich Razzleberry card to die cut the flowers

To make the gift bag you’ll need the following supplies

  • Dainty Flowers DSP measuring 9-1/2″ x 6″
    • scored on the long side at 3″, 4-1/2″, 7-1/2″ and 9″
    • scored on the short side at 1-1/2″ and 5″
  • Basic White card to stamp and punch the sentiment
  • Rich Razzleberry card to punch the larger oval
  • Ribbon

Here’s the one I made in the video, along with my first one. Which do you prefer?

I hope you like this project and will give it a try too.
