Splendid Day Desktop Calendar & Note Pad set – video tutorial

Hello!

Today I’d like to share with you a project we made at a recent paper crafting class. I made a prototype in advance of the class that looked like this…

This is such a handy little gift! I made a couple of tweaks to the design for the class so that it wasn’t so time consuming and didn’t need so much equipment. On my original I heat embossed the ‘Just a Note’ and die cut it. For the class we simply stamped a smaller sentiment and cut it with the Double Oval punch but the overall construction was the same…

I’ve recorded a video tutorial to show you how to make this, just click on the image below to check it out…

Or you can CLICK HERE to watch it over on YouTube. If you’re not already subscribed to my channel I’d love you to do so while you’re there!

Here’s the one I made in the video alongside the one I made during the class…

In my video I showed you the document I gave to the ladies that attended my class, that includes the dimensions of the card and paper required. Hopefully you can see this here:

This was a fun project to make and I simply love crafting with our lovely group of ladies in the Scottish Borders. Our next class will be in January 2023 but I’m sure it will be worth the wait.

I hope you like this project as much as we al did.
