Tiny lidded treat boxes using Sweetest Christmas DSP – video tutorial

Hello, I hope you are well.

I thought it would be cute to make a teeny tiny treat box with a lid, using the Sweetest Christmas designer series paper and Real Red & White Glimmer paper. My finished box is a 1″ cube so it really is small…

As I could only fit it one little sweetie I decided that as cute as it is, it needed to be bigger! I recorded a video of me making my 1-1/2″ cube box. I’d love you to check it out by clicking on the image below…

To make this 1 inch box you’ll need the following supplies:

  • Basic White Thick card for the base measuring 4-1/2″ x 2″
    • score on the short side at 1″
    • score on the long side at 1″, 2″, 3″ and 4″
  • Sweetest Christmas DSP for the lid measuring 2″ x 2″
    • scored at 1/2″ on all 4 sides
  • White Glimmer paper to die cut the bow and 1/4″ wide strips to decorate the lid and base

To make this 1-1/2″ inch box you’ll need the following supplies:

  • Basic White Thick card for the base measuring 6-1/2″ x 3″
    • score on the short side at 1-1/2″
    • score on the long side at 1-1/2″, 3″, 4-1/2″ and 6″
  • Sweetest Christmas DSP for the lid measuring 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
    • scored at 1/2″ on all 4 sides
  • White Glimmer paper to die cut the bow and 1/4″ wide strips to decorate the lid and base

Here’s the one I made in the video…

And here are the 2 sizes together…

You really can get lots more treats inside the bigger box. Yum!

I hope you like today’s boxes and will try them out too.
