Hues of Happiness Tailor Made Tags

Hello everyone,

I know that I’m not alone in loving the Hues of Happiness designer series paper. I also know, that many of us are trying to make sure that we can use up every little piece of it; as it’s just too pretty to waste!!

I had a few flowers I’d already die cut from the DSP, some are full flowers and other are partial, plus some scraps that I could fussy cut. I used these with some Basic White Thick card, vellum, stamps from Simply Fabulous and the Tailor Made Tags dies to create these lovely tags…

I began by laying out the flowers and ‘auditioning’ the tag dies over them…

I glued the flowers in place before I die cut them. As you can see,I’ve used full and partial flowers and I fussy cut some smaller images that don’t have dies…

I then stamped ‘for you’ and ‘thank you’ from Simply Fabulous with Versamark ink, added black Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I just trimmed the sentiments with my snips and added them to the tags.

I used the Tailor Made Tag dies to cut 6 vellum tags and all the little hole reinforcers with Brights card scraps. I layered the vellum over the card tags and threaded through some White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon.

Here’s how they look without the vellum…

Now to put them in a safe place until I need to use them. And hopefully I’ll remember where they are when that time comes, lol!

I hope you’ll try using up some of your lovely scraps for tags too.
