Botanical Layers blended thinking of you card

Hello!

I must admit that I failed to spot the new masking paper in the current annual catalogue until recently. Once I’d noticed it I added it to my next order for fear of missing out! Lol

This is the first time I’ve played with it…

I use one of the Beautiful Shapes dies to cut a hexagon in the masking paper. I then added the paper to a piece of Basic White card and added Pool Party, Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay ink with a blending brush.

I stamped the leaves from Botanical Layers with Basic Gray ink then removed the masking paper.

The sentiment is also from Botanical Layers and again I used Basic Gray ink.

I mounted this stamped card layer with Basic Gray card and added it to my card base. The final touch was to add some Basic Gray matte dots.

Tip: the masking paper is a little bit more tacky than I’d prefer so I’d recommend taking off some of the tackiness on your clothes before using it on your card.
