Forever Fern thank you card

Hello.

I recently received a beautiful wedding invitation that already had a RSVP section to be returned but I wanted to thank the couple for their invitation so made them this card…

My card base is Very Vanilla Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create a landscape tent fold.

I added a layer of Soft Succulent card measuring 10 x 14 cm and cut a piece of Very Vanilla card for stamping that measured 9.5 x 13.5 cm.

I stamped the Thank You from Go To Greeting stamp set with Basic Gray ink and then used stamps from Forever Fern with Soft Succulent ink to add the foliage in the 2 corners. I also stamped on the envelope and finished the card with some Soft Succulent Opal Rounds.

My card design and colours was very heavily influenced by the invitation I received. You can see a little glimpse of it in this photo…

Don’t you just love it when your Stampin’ Up! stash lets you coordinate with a theme?

I’ve got my wedding outfit all sorted out and just have to wait (im)patiently for the date to come around now. I’m really excited to be able to celebrate with this lovely couple!
