Hello everyone.
Today I’m taking part in the InspireInk blog hop for May 2022, with my talented team mates. This month our challenge was set by my friend Janice Thomson of Jazzle Dazzle Craft and is…
SUNSHINE, FLOWERS & INSECTS
I really can’t wait to see what everyone else has done for this challenge. Remember to check out their entries by clicking on the blue box down below.
I had to search my stamp sets to find something that might be considered an insect and landed on the Dragonfly Garden, which also has gorgeous flowers too. My sunshine comes from the fabulous New Horizons designer series paper, with a little bit extra ink…
I cut a piece of the designer series paper (DSP) to cover my whole card front (14.5 x 10.5 cm) which isn’t something I often do, but I really wanted to show as much of it off as possible.
I stamped the flowers, butterflies and sentiments straight onto the DSP with Memento ink. I used my Stamparatus so that I do repeat the stamping to get a bolder image that would stand out a bit better on the paper.
I then coloured the flowers, leaves and butterflies with some of my Stampin’ Blends. I’ve listed the colours I used in my product list below.
To add in the sunshine element I cut a circle from a post it note and used this as a mask to add in Mango Melody ink with a blending brush. I took the mask off and blended in some Daffodil Delight ink to soften the effect a little.
It’s time to see what everyone else has created for this challenge. Please click on the button below to see all of the other blogs you can hop around…
