Hello, I hope you are well.
Today I want to share the latest Creative Colour Challenge from Vickie Lou Designs with you, and of course my entry. Here are this week’s 3 colours…
Please CLICK HERE to see the beautiful floral card that Victoria has created with these colours and hopefully you will join in the fun too.
I decided I’d go a bit masculine and grungy with these colours and picked out some Early Espresso designs from the He’s The Man designer series paper pack.
I also used the He’s All That stamps and the All That dies and here’s the result…
I thought the Mango Melody card was a bit too bright so embossed it with the Brick & Mortar folder then added some Early Espresso ink on top with a blending brush.
I stamped the 2 round stamps with Mango Melody and Cherry Cobbler inks onto Basic White card, cut them with the corresponding die and added some more Early Espresso ink. I did the same to my other die cuts, again using the same die set.
I cut a piece of Basic White for the inside of the card and it got the same ink blending treatment, along with another one of the He’s All That stamps in the corners and the happy birthday sentiment from Art Gallery…
It was fun to step out of my crafting comfort zone with this challenge. Why don’t you give it a try too?
You don’t need a blog, you can simply upload a photograph of your creation to take part – click here to find out more
