I bought a couple of Nature’s Ingredients hand creams and wanted a nice box to gift them in. I remembered a fabulous double hinged box that Crafty Caroline created a few years ago and decided to give it a try. Here’s the result…
I wanted to make my box look nice and natural to compliment the hand cream so used Very Vanilla thick card and Kraft paper with Crumb Cake ink. To watch my video tutorial please click on the image below:

To make the box I made in the video you’ll need the following:
- Very Vanilla Thick card measuring 8-1/4″ x 5-1/4″
- score at 1-1/2″ on all 4 sides
- 2 pieces of Kraft paper measuring 6″ x 5-1/4″
- score on the short side at 1-1/2″ and 3-3/4″
- score on the long side at 1-1/2″ and 3″
- cut as shown in the video
- scraps of Very Vanilla and Kraft for the decorations on the belly band
I used the awesome new Framed Occasions stamp set that coordinates so well with the Beautiful Shapes dies. I also used the Summer Shadows dies to add in that little flower and leaves.
I love the quirky opening of this box…
