Creative Colour Challenges 36 featuring Summer Shadows dies

Hello, I hope you are well.

Today I want to share the latest Creative Colour Challenge from Vickie Lou Designs with you, and of course my entry. Here are this week’s 3 colours…

For this challenge I’m using a set of dies that I’d totally forgotten about until a friend set me straight!

I got these beautiful dies for free during a Sale-A-Bration event and if you missed out on them at that time, you can now buy them. They coordinate with the Shaded Summer stamp set that has also carried over into the new annual catalogue. I’ve just used them on their own with card in these 3 colours to create my card…

The dies cut out 2 pieces for the larger flowers and leaves that can be used separately or layered together as I’ve done.

My card base is Petal Pink card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. I then cut a piece of Shimmery White card to measure 9 x 13 cm and embossed it with the Pretty Flowers folder. I then added some of my flowers flat onto this layer and popped some up with dimensionals…

My sentiment comes from the new Limited Edition stamp set and I used Mossy Meadow ink onto Shimmery White card and cut it with the oval die from the All That set.

I added another one of the stamps from Limited Edition to the back of my card with Balmy Blue ink that means my card complies with the Stampin’ Up! Angel Policy if I wanted to sell it…
