Creative Colour Challenges 35 featuring Stylish Shapes dies

Hello, I hope you are well.

Today I want to share the latest Creative Colour Challenge from Vickie Lou Designs with you, and of course my entry. Here are this week’s 3 colours…

Please CLICK HERE to see the beautiful card that Victoria has created with these colours and hopefully you will join in the fun too.

I added some white to the colour combination and used the brand new Stylish Shapes dies to create this card…

This set of dies includes 6 circles, 5 squares and 4 banners that all have an awesome stitched detail on both sides of the cutting edge. This means the shape you cut out has the stitching but also the piece you cut from has the stitching around the aperture too.

My card base is Shaded Spruce then I added a layer of Crumb Cake card. I added various sized circles cut from card of all 3 of the challenge colours to a piece of Basic White card and trimmed it down to add to my card base.

My sentiment comes from the Artfully Layered stamp set and I used Shaded Spruce ink onto Basic White card and cut it with the largest of the banner dies.

My final touch was to add on a few of the clear Elegant Faceted Gems for a bit of sparkle…

I really do like all that stitched detail! I can see me using these dies a lot.

We’d love you to join in with these weekly colour challenges. You don’t need a blog, you can simply upload a photograph of your creation to take part.
