Today I want to share with you the cards I designed for our face to face paper craft class earlier this week. We had such a fun time!
For my project I wanted to focus on the joys of die cutting and used the Stitched Greenery die for our background and then everyone had the freedom to choose how they used the Pierced Blooms dies to decorate their card. Here are the cards I made as inspiration…
I restricted myself to only using card from the Brights Collection. Did you know that you can buy a pack of card that has all of the 10 colours from the collection in it? It’s a great way to build up your Stampin’ Up! supplies! Check it out in my product list below.
Both of my sentiments are from the Sale-A-Bration Special Moments stamp set that you can earn for free with a £90 spend in my online shop up to 11pm on 28 February 2022. It’s a great set with a whopping 21 sentiments for lots of the special moments we share with our friends and family.
Here’s what you’ll need for this style of card:
- Basic White Thick card for the base = 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm
- Brights card = 10 x 14 cm
- Basic White card for the die cut layer = 9.5 x 13.5 cm
- Basic White card for stamping and die cutting your sentiment
- A selection of card scraps to die cut your flowers and leaves
- An ink pad in one of the colours you’ve already used on your card
- A suitable sentiment stamp
- Ribbon/Gems to embellish the card
