I recently made a card for a friend to give to a lady who loves bright colours and gardening and had been thinking about recreating the card with other colours when this colour challenge popped into my inbox. It was perfect timing!

So here’s the card I made with these 5 colours…

My card base is Soft Succulent card measuring 5″ x 9″, scored on the long side at 2″, 3″, 6″ and 7″. I also used a piece of Soft Succulent card measuring 1″ x 7″ for the bridge part of the card.

My Evening Evergreen designer series paper pieces measure as follows:

• Two pieces cut to 4-7/8″ x 1-7/8″
• Two pieces cut to 4-7/8″ x 7/8″
• One piece cut to 4-7/8″ x 2-7/8″

The finished card, when folded, measures 5″ x 7″ so it’s easy to find an envelope to fit it in.
