#simplestamping Sunday- sending hugs!

Hello!

I love a hug from my closest friends and family! And I also love to receive a hug in the mail…

Cards don’t always have to be elaborate creations with lots of layers, pretty papers and die cuts etc. A simple handmade card sent with love is really all you need sometimes. Especially when you just want to let someone know that you are thinking of them. #simplestamping

My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create a tent fold.

I cut a piece of Basic White card to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm and decorated it with stamps from Eden’s Garden using Highland Heather, Soft Sea Foam, So Saffron and Petal Pink. The sentiment is from the same set.

Just to add a little bit more interest I added some of the beautiful Pastel Pearls. You could add a little bit of stamping inside the card too, I love that little extra touch.

I hope you’ll be inspired to pick up some stamps, card and ink and send a card to someone to let them know you’re thinking about them too. #makeacardsendacard
