Forever Flourishing thank you card

Hello, I hope you are well.

Today’s card features some of my favourite dies; Forever Flourishing and Hippo & Friends. Which I realise might sound like a strange combination! The Hippo & Friends dies have some fabulous label dies as well as the ones that coordinate with the Hippo Happiness stamp set, so it’s a great set to have even if you’re not a fan of the cute critters.

I’ve used Merry Merlot as my card base and added a layer of Basic White that I cut with one of the Hippo Happiness dies and then embossed with the Pretty Flowers folder.

I then added Crumb Cake and Soft Suede pieces cut with some Forever Flourishing dies, a little stamped sentiment from Beauty Of Friendship and a bow made with the gorgeous Fine Art ribbon. I love the gold thread in this lovely soft ribbon…

My final touch was to add some Champagne Rhinestones to keep with the natural colour tones.

I hope you like this card as much as I do. It’s fun to play around with unusual combinations of dies and just add a wee sentiment.
