Hello, I hope you are well.
I’ve made lots of these really useful magnetic sticky note holders over the years and have sold lots of them at craft fairs as they are such a useful little gift.
And they are SO quick and easy to make too. I’ve recorded this video to show you how…
There are just a few supplies you’ll need including a wooden coaster, a foldback clip, a mini pen with a clear barrel, your sticky notes and some strong magnetic sheet for the back…
And of course you need to choose your favourite designer series paper! You’ll need a piece large enough to cover your base, I cut mine to 4″ x 4″ and then trimmed it to fit once I’d glued it to my coaster. That way you don’t have to worry about getting it perfectly straight, lol. You’ll also need a piece measuring 2″ x 1-1/4″ for your clip and approx 2″ x 1″ for the inside of your pen.
In my video, I show you the upcoming FREE Simply Marbelous 6″ x 6″ designer series paper that will be available with a spend of £45 or more between 4 January and 28 February 2022 (or while stocks last, as I think this will be VERY popular!)
Here’s the one I made in the video…
And this photo lets you see more of that awesome paper…
This is just like using the shaving foam technique but without the mess!
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing today’s project. If you did I’d love it if you’d leave me a comment to let me know. And if you’ve not already subscribed to my YouTube channel I’d really appreciate it if you could.

Good morning Nellie from the USA. Love to watch your videos. I really learn a lot. I have made these sticky note holder for many years. Never used a wooden piece. Where do you find them. I use coaster board for the. This is a great idea for just a little gift to give someone. I am just a crafter that started making cards about 25 yrs. ago. Make all sorts of little treat boxes and small gifts like the sticky note holder. Its so much fun, now that I a retired. Thanks for sharing and wishing you a very Merry Christmas.Maureen Wheatley
