Thinking of you – featuring the Beauty Of Friendship stamps & DSP

Hello!

I’m having a brief break from Christmas cards to make a Thinking Of You card, as we always need to have some of them in our stash, don’t we?

I’ve used the Beauty Of Friendship stamp set, without using the dies for a change! Although I couldn’t resist using some of the Beauty Of The Earth designer series paper (DSP).

My card base is Old Olive card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm to create a tent fold.

I’ve added 3 pieces of the gorgeous DSP that measure:

  • 10 cm x 3.5 cm
  • 10 cm x 6 cm
  • 10 cm x 4 cm

I stamped the tree and sentiment onto a piece of Basic White card measuring 6.5 x 11 cm and backed it with Night Of Navy card measuring 7 x 11.5 cm before adding it on top of the DSP.

I used Cinnamon Cider ink for the tree trunk and used both Old Olive and Mossy Meadow ink a few times to give the tree a really full look.

The final touch was to add some gems from the Holiday Rhinestones pack.

I hope you like this card as much as I do.
