Creative Colour Challenges 11 featuring Eden’s Garden

Hello, I hope you are well.

I’m a little bit later with my card for the latest Creative Colour Challenge this week but here are the colours that Vicky Lou Designs challenged us with on Monday…

Please CLICK HERE to see what Victoria has created with these colours and to join in the fun. What will you make with this colour combination?

I used this challenge as an excuse to play with my beautiful new Eden’s Garden stamp set for the very first time. I’ve already used the die and the designer series paper but the stamp set hadn’t been inked until I made this card…

I used Fresh Freesia ink for the flower along with Fresh Freesia ribbon and gems from the In Color Jewels pack. The sentiment is stamped in Night Of Navy ink and I brought in the Evening Evergreen by using some of the Ever Eden designer series paper. Remember, this paper is only available while stocks last!

Now, I wouldn’t normally add a ribbon right over a stamped imaged but I really wanted the ribbon to be a main focus because of the sentiment inside of the card…

How could I not use a bow with that adorable sentiment? Again, I stamped it with Night Of Navy ink and I added in the leaves with Evening Evergreen.

The main panel on the front of my card was cut with one of the Scalloped Contours dies and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I hope you like the way I’ve used these colours for this week’s challenge. Keep a look out for the next one on Monday at http://www.creativecolourchallenges.blogspot.com
