I wanted to make an elegant thank you card so I’ve combined quite a few Stampin’ Up! products to create today’s card…
It’s been a while since I used the Very Versailles stamp set and it has the most lovely Thank You stamp that I thought would look great heat embossed in gold and cut with one of the Encircled In Beauty dies. I brought out the Simply Elegant designer series paper pack and chose a design with Very Vanilla, Basic Gray and Gold foiling on it and used those colours throughout.
My card base is Very Vanilla Thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm. I cut a piece of Basic Gray card to measure 10.3 x 14.4 cm and my designer series paper measures 10 x 14 cm. I added some of the gold Simply Elegant trim to the paper and tied it in a bow on the front before I added this layer to my card base.
I stamped the script from Very Versailles with Basic Gray ink onto Very Vanilla card then stamped the leaves from the set with Versamark ink, added gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I cut this with an Encircled In Beauty die too.
My sentiment is heat embossed on Basic Gray card and I added this to the card base with dimensionals.
I love the way heat embossing adds a textural shine to your projects! And just to add more shine I added some Gilded Gems too.
