You Warm My Heart – featuring Encircled In Warmth

Hello!

I knew as soon as I saw them that I just had to use the mittens shape in the Gingerbread & Peppermint designer series paper on a card, with ribbon between them – just like I had as a kid to stop me losing one of them, lol!

I know that they’re really cookies and not mittens but I don’t care, the idea was in my head and I couldn’t shake it until I’d made this card!

My card base is Cinnamon Cider that measures 11″ x 5-1/2″; scored & folded at 5-1/2″; so this will easily fit in a 6″ x 6″ envelope. I added a piece of the Gingerbread & Peppermint designer series paper that measures 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″

The sentiment is from Encircled In Warmth and I used Cinnamon Cider ink onto Basic White card and cut it with the largest die fro the Encircled In Beauty set.

The mittens were fussy cut from the Gingerbread & Peppermint designer series paper and I attached a little bit of white ribbon between them and added them to the card with dimensionals.

The final touch was to add some Champagne Rhinestones around the sentiment die cut…

I think it turned out every bit as sweet as I imagined it would. I hope you like it too.
