Creative Colour Challenges 7 – Thinking Of You with Beauty Of Friendship

Hello, I hope you are well.

There’s a brand new challenge over at https://creativecolourchallenges.blogspot.com/ and the lovely Victoria Littlewood has given us these colours this week…

Please CLICK HERE to see what Victoria has created with these colours and to join in the fun.

I’ve chosen to use the Beauty Of Friendship stamp set and the coordinating Beautiful Trees dies for my challenge card…

My card base is Mint Macaron card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. I then added a layer of So Saffron card meausring 9.5 x 13.5 cm, that I embossed with the Painted Texture 3D folder.

I cut another piece of Mint Macaron card to measure 8.5 x 12.5 cm and a piece of Very Vanilla card to measure 8 x 12 cm. I stamped the vanilla piece with the Birch background stamp using So Saffron ink, I added a tree cut from Early Espresso card using one of the Beautiful Trees dies so it overlapped the edge and trimmed off the excess. 1then added this to the Mint Macaron layer and popped it onto my card base with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Beauty Of Friendship stamp set and I used Early Espresso ink on So Saffron card.

I rather like the mix of layers on this card and I’m glad I added the tree off to the side for a bit of a change!

It’s a very simple card but I hope you like it.
