Stamp Around UK Video Hop – September 2021 – Beginner, Casual & Avid Christmas cards

Hello.

Today I’m taking part in a video hop over on YouTube along with a number of other UK based Stampin’ Up! independent demonstrators.

Our theme for this month is to create a Beginner stamper card, step it up to a card for a Casual crafter and then an Avid one. I’ve used projects from the Painted Christmas suite for my 3 cards. You can take a look at my project on YouTube by CLICKING HERE

Here’s the full list of all of the videos in this month’s hop. Please click on each link to see what these talented people have created to inspire us all…

Here are the 3 cards I show you in my video. I show you how to make the avid stamper version…

To make the beginner version you just need one of our Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes, as well as your inks and stamps.

For the casual crafter’s card you’ll need the following supplies:

  • Basic White thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm
  • Cherry Cobbler card measuring 13 x 9 cm
  • Basic White card measuring 12.5 x 8.5 cm
  • Basic White card for the sentiment labels
  • Basic White card for stamping and die cutting the holly leaves & berries

And for the Avid stamper’s version you’ll need these supplies:

  • Basic White thick card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm
  • 4 pieces of Real Red card measuring 10 x 14 cm – emboss 2 of them
  • Painted Christmas DSP measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm
  • Basic White card measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm
  • Basic White card for stamping and die cutting the leaves, berries and sentiment on the card front
  • Real Red card for die cutting
  • Basic White card measuring 28 x 7 cm. scored at 7, 14 and 21 cm
  • 4 pieces of Painted Christmas DSP measuring 6.5 x 6.5 cm
  • 2 pieces of Basic White card for stamping the inside sentiments, each measure 6 x 6 cm

Here’s some more photos to show how the inside and back of the Avid card look…

Which one do you prefer? Do you like to keep it simple, step it up a little or go all out with a fancy fold card? Use the comments to let me know.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards and have been inspired by everyone that’s taken part in this video hop. I hope you’ll take the time to give their videos a thumbs up or a comment if you can.

I’ve listed the many products I used for all 3 of my cards below., roughly in order of what I added in as I stepped up the cards. The Christmas Season stamp set and the Seasonal Labels dies can be purchased separately but you’ll save 10% if you buy them as a bundle, so I’ve included both options below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store at any time. Remember that if your order is under £150 you should use the current Host Code to make sure I can add an extra gift into your Customer Thank You pack. Check out the Host Code page in the main menu for more info.

Happy crafting,
