The super cute Penguin Place stamp set and Penguin Builder punch are far too cute to only use for Christmas projects. The stamp set is perfect for birthday cards too, like this one…
I used the punch to cut out that adorable penguin from the Penguin Playmates designer series paper that you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration, up to 30 September 2021 (while stocks last!) I used another design from the pack for the background layer on my card.
Here are the dimensions I used:
- Fresh Freesia card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm; scored and folded at 14.5 cm to create a tent fold base
- Penguin Playmates DSP measuirng 10 x 14 cm
- Shimmery White card measuring 8.5 x 13.5 cm for stamping
- A penguin punched from the Penguin Playmates DSP
Before stamping I added some Balmy Blue ink to the Shimmery White card with a Blending Brush. I stamped the balloon and sentiment from the set with Gorgeous Grape ink and added the stars with Fresh Freesia ink. The string for the balloon was Memento ink and I used Gorgeous Grape, Fresh Freesia and Balmy Blue for the gifts. The penguin was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For some extra shimmer I added Wink Of Stella to the balloon – I couldn’t resist!
