Pansy Petals and Lovely You – Just because

Hello.

I love to receive a handmade card for any occasion, but there’s something even more special about receiving a card for no real reason; just because! Today’s card would be perfect for sending completely out of the blue…

I’ve used some of the really fresh and pretty Pansy Petals designer series paper for my card, but this layout would be beautiful with any of the Stampin’ Up! designer series papers. To coordinate with the paper I’ve used Pale Papaya card and ribbon, along with Evening Evergreen card and ink. My absolute favourite thing about Stampin’ Up! is the colour coordination of card, paper, ink, ribbon and embellishments; it makes crafting so much easier when you don’t have to think about what will match or not.

The sentiment is from the Lovely You stamp set which has so many lovely sentiments to choose from.

The dimensions for this card are as follows:

• Basic White Thick card for the base that measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm
• Evening Evergreen card measuring 9 x 13 cm
• Basic White card measuring 8.5 x 12.5 cm
• Pale Papaya card measuring 8 x 8 cm
• Pansy Petals designer series paper measuring 7.5 x 7.5 cm
• Pale Papaya card measuring 9 x 13 cm for the inside
• Basic White card measuring 8.5 x 12.5 cm for the inside

I added the ribbon to the Evening Evergreen and basic white card layers before adding them to the card base. I popped the Pale Papaya and DSP layers up with Stampin’ Dimensions and then added some of the 2021 – 2023 In Color Jewels for that little bit of bling. Finally, I added 2 layers of card to the inside to continue the theme…
