Yesterday I shared a #simplestamping card with you and today’s card is nearly as simple. I’ve used the Sweet Symmetry designer series paper but this card would look great with any of our patterned papers…
This would be a lovely card to send to someone to thank them for a gift, as that’s what the paper looks like, all wrapped up with beautiful silver trim and a little tag.
My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I cut a piece of the Sweet Symmetry designer series paper to measure 9 x 13 cm, which leaves a nice big border on the card base showing.
The trim I used is from the Simply Elegant trim combo and I secured the ends on the back of the paper, rather than actually wrapping it all the way around; which saves you so much of the trim.
The stamp I used is from Brew Some Fun but I masked part of it off before I inked it with Calypso Coral and stamped onto a piece of Basic White card. The full sentiment is “sending thanks with a whole latte love” which is really cute, but not quite right for this card. Once stamped I cut it with one of the Tailor Made Tags dies. I added the tag to the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added the whole piece of DSP to the card base with Dimensionals too…
The final touch was a few rhinestones on the tag. Simple but effective!
