Simply Elegant Anniversary cards

Hello, I hope you are well.

Today’s card is an anniversary card that is also golden so would work well as a Golden Wedding anniversary card…

Because of the asymmetrical design of the the background I’ve actually made two of these cards and here’s the second one…

I love it when you feel like you’ve got 2 designs for 1, lol.

I made my 2 card bases from one sheet of Basic White Thick A4 card. They each measure 21 x 14.5 cm and were scored on the long side at 10.5 cm

I cut 1 piece of the gorgeous Simply Elegant designer series paper and 1 piece of the Gold Metallic Speciality Paper to each measure 10 x 14 cm. I ran the metallic paper through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine with the Stitched Greenery die. I then laid pieces one on top of the other and cut them diagonally with my paper trimmer. I could then mix and match the pieces to add to my card fronts. It’s easier that it might sound.

I then stamped the beautiful little flower from the Elegantly Said stamp set with Versamark ink, added gold Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I cut this with one of the Tailor MadeTag dies and added some trim to it before adding it to my card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I used the gold trim from the Simply Elegant Trim pack for the first card and Gold Shimmer ribbon for the second one to mix it up a bit. Finally I added some of the Gilded Gems for even more sparkle!
