Hello.
I just had to buy the Stampin’ Up! Sending Hugs bundle after seeing my lovely friend Verity (www.stampinwithinkybutterfly.wordpress.com) use it. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!! This is the first card I’ve made with it and to be honest I was just playing about with it; but it’s such an awesome stamp and dies combination that I don’t really think you could go wrong with it…
I used the stunning main stamp from the set with Versamark ink on Basic White card, added Silver embossing powder and heat set it. I then coloured it with Petal Pink, Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight, MGranny Apple Green and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends.
I then cut some Highland Heather card with the largest die from the set and glued that on top of the coloured image.
To add some dimension to the card I used the letters die from the set to cut Basic White card that I’d stuck to some Foam Adhesive Sheet and then stuck those letters on top of the Highland Heather die cut…
Here are the dimensions of my card layers:
- Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5cm
- Highland Heather card measuring 10 x 14 cm
- Basic White card measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm – heat embossed etc.
My final touches were to add the extra little sentiments that I stamped with Highland Heather ink and cut with another die from the set and to add some rhinestones that I’d coloured with my Highland Heather Dark Stampin’ Blend.
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing today’s card. I’ve listed all of the products I used for today’s card below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop, at any time.
