Birthday card featuring Quite Curvy bundle

Hello, I hope you are well.

The theme for yesterday’s Project Share blog hop was retiring favourites from the January to June 2021 mini catalogue and to be honest it was quite a tough choice on which ones to use. So, I’ve decided to showcase another one today.

This time I’ve used the Quite Curvy stamp set and the coordinating Curvy dies to make this birthday card…

I’ve combined this retiring bundle with some of the new 2021-2023 In Colors; Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. It’s fun to mix it up with an older bundle by using newer colours.

My card base is Evening Evergreen card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a piece of Soft Succulent card measuring 10 x 14 cm that I’d embossed with the new Pretty Flowers embossing folder.

I cut a piece of the In Colors designer series paper measuring 14 x 5 cm with one of the Curvy dies and stamped my sentiment on it with Evening Evergreen ink.

I stamped the large leaves stamp with Evening Evergreen ink onto Basic White card and coloured it with Soft Succulent ink using my Wink Of Stella brush. This wasn’t quite long enough so I had to do another piece to complete the width of the card. I did the same stamping and colouring with the little birds and used the corresponding dies to cut them out.

I love the sparkle you get with Wink of Stella but it’s so hard to capture in a photograph…

A few sprigs of Evening Evergreen card and some of the In Colors jewels finish the card off nicely.

The stamps and dies I used for today’s card will retire on 30 June 2021 but may sell out before then so if you want them, don’t delay! They are a fabulous bargain at only £8 for the stamps and £13.50 for the dies.

I’ve listed all of the products I’ve used for today’s project below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop at any time. Although the list shows the original prices, the discounted ones will automatically apply in my online shop – while stocks last.

When you shop with me I’ll send you a handmade card and gift as a token of my appreciation. If your order is under £150 please use my current Host Code when you shop, so that I can add in an extra gift to your customer thank you pack for the month.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
